Sound Engineer, Tampere

Rovio Tampere is looking for motivated and skilled Sound Engineer to join our team in Tampere. You will be responsible for specifying, acquiring, manipulating and/or generating audio elements for games. As a sound engineer you are making sure that the audio evokes emotion, reflects the mood and underscores the actions within the game. Due to the nature of game production you will coordinate the sound design together with producers, game designers, programmers, game testers and the audio team.

Requirements:

• You know your DAW inside out. We prefer Cubase & Pro Tools.
• You know how sound really works. You have excellent understanding on mixing and mastering. 
• You understand the requirements of a mobile game production and make a game sound good even at low bitrates.
• You have worked with game sounds and you are familiar with tools such as FFmod and Wwise.
• You understand both interactive and traditional cinematic sound design.
• You know how to record a sound. You have extensive knowledge in recording music and sound fx.
• Excellent communication skills in English

Following skills are considered as an advantage:

• Music composing, arranging and producing skills
